Recent studies from this laboratory demonstrated differential expression of microRNAs in Periampullary Carcinoma which may some role in pathogenesis and progression of the disease. These microRNAs may be useful as prognostic markers in future and RNA interference mechanisms may be used to regulate microRNA function by altering their expression in Periampullary carcinoma.
